According to court records, Toni Price ended up inside the school where an employee reported a drunk woman was armed with a sword running through the halls of the school. She told police Price was threatening to cut her.

NC searchers find body of missing 5-year-old girl
SANFORD, N.C. – A missing 5-year-old whose mother was accused of offering her for sex was found dead off a heavily wooded road in a rural area Monday, ending a weeklong search, police said.
Searchers found Shaniya Davis’ body early Monday afternoon about 100 feet off a road southeast of Sanford, in central North Carolina, Fayetteville Police spokeswoman Theresa Chance said. She declined to comment on a cause of death or the condition of Shaniya’s body.

Father admits beating baby to death

BUFFALO, N.Y. (RELEASE) – Buffalo police have made an arrest in the beating death of an infant, at 84 Humason Street (upper).
“C” District officers responded to a rescue call involving a 9-month-old child on Monday, October 26th at around 7:15AM.
Investigating officers were told the baby boy was found unresponsive, by his parents.
The baby boy was pronounced dead on arrival at Erie County Medical Center.
A subsequent investigation was begun by homicide detectives, and an autopsy was performed on the child, Demari Miller, at the Erie County Morgue. “It was determined that the cause of death was the result of a severe beating, indicated by both external and internal injuries,” according to Dennis J. Richards, Chief of Detectives.
Deputy Police Commissioner Daniel Derenda added, “It’s the most disturbing autopsy report I’ve ever seen”
On October 28th, the father of the child was questioned at police headquarters, and confessed to homicide squad detectives Michael Acquino and Michael A. Mordino. The father, 25 year old Darnell Miller (dob: 11/3/83) of 84 Humason Street, has been arrested and charged with murder in the second degree, for beating his son, and causing his death. Miller was booked late Wednesday, and is held without bail at the Erie County Holding Center.

Husband detained in family killings
PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti – Police in Haiti have detained a man wanted for questioning in the slaying of his wife and their five children in Naples.
An Associated Press reporter saw Mesac Damas in custody at a police station near the Port-au-Prince airport Monday afternoon. Two officers confirmed it was him. They spoke on condition of anonymity because his capture had not been publicly announced.
Damas’ wife and their five children, ages 9 years to 11 months, were found slain Saturday inside their apartment in Naples, Florida.
Police in Florida say Damas boarded a flight to Haiti from Miami International Airport on Friday. The Collier County Sheriff’s Office in southwest Florida says the 33-year-old Damas is a person of interest in the slayings.
